Sexual Chocolate
This recipe at first started out being a sensible rendition of the French classic, Pots Au Chocolat. Eventually, sheer laziness, not having all of the ingredients or drinking too much whilst preparing the other bits and pieces involved in planning a dinner party meant that it evolved (or devolved, if you’re a French fanatic) into something much simpler.
The dessert got its name when a male friend had his first mouthful and, in front of his wife and the rest of us, said, “This is better than sex!”
Sexual Chocolate
– (for eating!) – Kath Lockett

Ingredients
250g butter
250g good quality dark chocolate
2 eggs
300ml thick cream
* optional – 2 tablespoons of rum, cointreau or whatever other liqueur takes your fancy
Just do it:
Place the butter and chocolate into a metal saucepan and gently warm over a very low heat, stirring as often as you can.
When melted and mixed through, take the goo off the heat and use an egg beater or whisk (depending on your arm muscles) to add in the eggs, cream and liqueur.
Spoon the mixture into dishes – I find that wine glasses look pretty good for fancy desserts – and leave in the fridge for at least a couple of hours.
Serve with a dollop of cream on the top.
