On a diet? Why not sniff some chocolate instead of eating some?
In some wonky translations from English to French, LeWhif is described as:

“The Whif is an inhaler flavors created by David Edwards, founder of the Laboratory, and developed alongside Thierry Marx, head twice in the Guide Michelin, Le Relais Castle Cordeillan-Bages in Pauillac.
New taste sensation at the border of a culinary revolution, announces Whif The art of eating differently: the aerosol cooking! Exit forks and knives or other spoons … The gastronomy of the twenty-first century will be more light and airy, filled with new emotions and magical moments of rediscovery of taste.
He anytime enjoyed the day. Stowed in a pocket, purse or malicieusemnt placed on the desktop, the Whif offers six to eight minutes pleasure. Good news for gourmets! Ideal with coffee, it replaces the traditional delicious piece of chocolate. Surprised? Almost without calories, Whif is overjoyed greedy.”
Le Whif is available from the The LaboShop in Paris, which is is a boutique design shop where you can find a variety of prototypes and test them or sometimes buy them. From what I can gather, the business is mostly focused on art and design experiments where visitors can buy limited edition items, books and other innovative products designed in partnership with the Laboratory and with the Foodlab (laboratory of culinary research and development).
